Rules
- ★★★ means many, so use a plural verb with it.
- ★★★ means “the amount of”, so use a singular verb with it.
- In the expressions ★★★, ★★★ and ★★★ the noun closest to the verb determines if
that verb is singular or plural.

Choose the correct options to complete the sentences.

Complete the sentences with either... or, neither... nor,
not only... but also.

- ★★★ Barcelona ★★★ Madrid is a good holiday destination. I recommend both of them!

Use a number of..., the number of..., either... or, neither... nor, not only... but
