Listening/ Speaking
5 . PW. Listen and practise. Generalize your opinions.
Bella: Hello! Don’t you think you might be a little overdressed*? Paul: What do you mean?
Bella: The invitation says “casual”.
Paul: Oops. I thought we were supposed to get dressed up.
Be right back.
Bella: How’s this?
Paul: Now that’s a little too casual.
Bella: I wish you’d make up your mind.
Paul: And what’s with the baggy pants?
Bella: OK. If I change into a polo shirt and a pair of slacks
(loose trousers) will that work?
Paul: Perfect!
